They keep calling and hang up when I answer the phone. They expect me to call back but I do not. At the end of the day they are free to call as it costs them money.

Is there any way to get these mongrels back? Phone calls come from early morning until evening, they have been told to get lost in no uncertain terms and still persist. Surely there is a way to make them pay? Ombudsman? Anyone?

this number calls my mobile everyday. i asked my phone company to block it. but they said they don't have such a power. does anyone know what company this number is from.

Same thing as everyone else. Asked vodaphone to block number and this just seemed too hard for them to do! Calls still happen regularly

I've been receiving calls from the same number that is 02 8188 6947 almost every day for the last few weeks. In the beginning l didn't answer as l don't the caller but lately l have been answering the calls. Only problem is when l do answer the caller immediately hangs up. Very frustrating. Arggg

I get a call from this number every afternoon. When I answer, the other caller hangs up immediately. Incredibly frustrating.

every day i have them ringing me, i have told them not to ring but they still do.im on the do not call register but thatdoes not stop them.

My wife has been getting calls from this number 3-5 times a week with the person hanging up if the call is answered, very frustrating.

I get this number calling every day now. When I answer they hang up. I have registered on the 'Do Not Call' list, but it is still happening and getting more frequent.
Please someone do something about this!!

multiple calls, have tried to block unsuccessfully. if it continues will report to authorities, it is an offence to use phone annoyingly

Get at least a couple of calls a week from this number ... if I answer they hang up on me, if I don't answer they don't leave a message. I have no idea who they are but they have been calling me for months ... please leave us all alone!

Yes, i have been getting calls on my mobile from this number at least 2-3 times a day. When I pick up to say not to call me again, they hang up before I finish - really annoying me.

I am concern with this number constantly calling me at least once a day. Whenever I pick up the call, it was just hung up.
I am really concern with the intention of these calls.
Could someone please take action and look into this number?

I am so sick of them too I am not doing an more surveys. All they are doing is giving themselves bad name harassment only puts me off these companies. Something is wrong with them if they have to keep annoying people. I have to pull over when I am driving thinking it was urgent message and its these calls. Even if they left a message would be better the constant ringing and hanging. Many a road accident is probably because of these call centres. Should be a law against them better they sent emails that is not dangerous then people can follow them up if interested.

This number frequently calls my mobile but hung up when I answered. I don't remember giving out my mobile number to any insurance companies. This is a privacy intrusion!!

Same as below. Calls every couple of days and hang up. When I call back I get a voice message from Fredon Insurance and advised to call a 1300 number. Bloody annoying! Will try and email the company.

Get these calls often and the company concerned isnt that bright as they call on Private Number but then they allow the phone service to send a message advising that you have a missed call from this number. Dont know who they are but I do know that if you are angry then direct it at the online competitions that have small surveys. I entered to win a free IPad. Even though I answered "No" to the questions I still started getting calls from Freedon Insurance, Dodo, Easy Meals and various other places. Didnt get these call prior to the comp entry. Oh and they are good, I didnt supply my other number but they started to call that too.
